To flip a video or image in Create you can use the Transform menu and click Horizontal or Vertical. See below for more detailed instructions and images:

How to flip a video

First, start a Create project and add your video or image to the project's media library, then:

1. Drag and drop the video or image into the timeline

If it's not already there, drag and drop the video or image from the media library into the timeline at the bottom of your project.

2. Click on the clip in the timeline to select it

The video or image clip will be highlighted when selected, and a Transform menu will appear in the top left of the editor window.

3. Click 'Horizontal' or 'Vertical' in the menu that appears

In the Transform menu, you will see a Flip section in the bottom right, as shown here:

In this section, click Horizontal if you would like to flip the video horizontally.

Click Vertical if you would like to flip the video vertically.

4. Close the Transform window

Once you are finished adjusting, simply close the Transform menu by clicking the X in the top right.

NOTE: You can also rotate videos and images 90° or 180° - see this this rotating videos or images article for more information.

Making text show the correct way

You can use the process described above to make text that was photographed backward (e.g. in a mirror, through glass or using a reverse-facing camera), face the right way by flipping it horizontally, like in this example:

Undoing a change

You can return the video or image to its original state at any time by selecting it in the timeline and clicking the horizontal or vertical button again in the menu.

Alternatively, drag and drop the original video or image into your timeline again from your media library.
