While WebM is the better choice as output format when you let your users record webcam recordings on your website in Firefox due to the fact that recordings to WebM process much faster than recordings to MP4 in this browser, you might run into an issue where the time codes in these WebM files are not shown correctly during playback.

The reason for this is the way browsers create recordings and can be corrected as follows: when choosing WebM, we offer an "opt-in" flag you can set in your API parameters, which will cause the API to fix up the video's metadata to reflect the correct recording length: fixup-webcam-webm (please see https://clipchamp.com/en/documentation/enable).
