When signing up to one of our monthly or annual subscription plans you can enter billing details incl. company name, address and VAT number.

To update this information later or delete it from your account, read on.

1. Changing billing details for a personal subscription

If you've subscribed to a paid plan for our video editor in your personal workspace and would like to update your billing details, you can do this on your Billing page at app.clipchamp.com/account/billing.

To get to it, click on the profile icon in the top right of the home page and select Settings.

Then, click on Billing.

In the Payment Method section of this page, click the Edit button.

If you don't see this section, it may be because we don't have a payment method on file for your account (e.g. because it's on a free plan). Make sure that you're logged into the correct Clipchamp account if you have more than one in place.

This opens an Edit payment details screen where you can enter a new payment method (PayPal or credit card), name, VAT (or other tax) number and address details:

When you're finished entering your new credit card or PayPal details, click Save details. This will now be saved for future payments. 

You can also remove your billing details from the system entirely. Note that this will cancel any active subscriptions on the next renewal date unless you enter new payment details beforehand.

2. Changing billing details for a team subscription

If you've subscribed to a paid plan for a team workspace and would like to update your billing details, you can do this on the Billing page of the team.

To get to it, click on the profile icon in the top right of the home page and select Settings.

Then, select the team you'd like to update payment details for.

And click on Billing.

After this, the steps are the same as for personal subscriptions and include the same options.
