Clipchamp offers three video-related products: Create, Utilities and Collect.
Create and Utilities are available to use at app.clipchamp.com and util.clipchamp.com in your browser (best in Chrome) – simply sign up for a free account or log in with Facebook or Google to get started straight away, no software installations required.
Create and Utilities have free plans, Collect has a trial plan. All 3 also have paid plans with more advanced features. You can access all products from the one Clipchamp account, but paid plans are charged separately for each product, so if you want to use the advanced features of two products (e.g. Utilities and Create), you'll need to upgrade for each separately.*
For more information about our 3 products and what they do, see below.
Our in-browser video editor lets you combine and edit multiple videos, images, music and titles and then export the project to your computer. You can also add visual effects, for example slowing down a video or adding a filter.
Create currently works in the Google Chrome browser on your desktop or laptop.
Create paid plans offer higher export resolutions (higher quality video) and access to stock video, music and audio.
Our in-browser suite of video tools includes a video compressor, converter, and webcam recorder. It allows you to reduce video file sizes with no visible quality loss, convert video files to different formats, or record videos with your webcam.
Utilities works in a range of browsers on your desktop or laptop, but performs best in Google Chrome.
Just drag and drop files and choose from simple settings – no technical skills required! Sign up at util.clipchamp.com to get started straight away.
The free version places a small watermark in the corner of your videos, and limits webcam recording to 5 minutes. The paid plan offers watermark-free videos and recordings of up to 30 minutes.
Clipchamp Collect API
The API is not part of a free Clipchamp account, however every API plan comes with a free trial period so you can implement and test it.
It requires some technical setup, depending on the level of customisation and the use case you'd like to use the API for.
*Note: you can't use a paid Collect plan and Utilities plan with the same account.
