After you've finished your webcam recording, Clipchamp needs to process the raw video and once that step is done the video will become available with a number of sharing and saving options like this:
You can upload the finished recording to YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo or Google Drive or you can simply save the file to your computer.
Pro Tip - Convert, Compress and/or Edit your Recording
If you'd like to get a smaller file, convert your webcam recording into another video format (MP4, FLV, ASF, WebM) or edit the recording, click on Convert Your Recording either after saving the original video or without saving it if you're OK with not keeping the original recording.
Note that once you click on Convert Your Recording and confirm that you want to navigate away from this screen in the next step, you won't be able to recover the original recording.
After clicking on Continue, you can make edits, convert and compress your recordings on the next screen.
Click Start, wait for the video to get processed and you'll be taken back to the "Save & Share" screen with the updated webcam recording ready.
Safari users, please note
Due to some limitations in Safari, the Save button in Clipchamp might not work. If that happens and you have a Flash blocker plugin installed, please disable it on Clipchamp, which will get the Save button to work again. Otherwise if this problem occurs, we recommend to use Clipchamp in Firefox or Chrome.
